Omega Fire Ministries Lagos began its journey in 2008, starting humbly with a few members at No. 7 Makanjuola Street, off Dapson Street, Oke-Ira, Ogba, Ikeja. Under the leadership of Dr. Fidelis Ayemoba, the ministry was launched in a warehouse that lacked a proper ceiling and roofing. Despite the challenges, Dr. Fidelis and his team committed themselves to the growth of the church. For one year, they lived in the church office with minimal comfort until Dr. Fidelis was housed by a church member, and later secured his own accommodation.
Dr. Fidelis Ayemoba was appointed as State Pastor by the spiritual leader, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who envisioned the rapid expansion of the ministry in Lagos. Several pastors, including Pastor Israel Increase Igbinosa, Pastor Ceemony Agbaduta, Pastor Samuel Omokaro, Pastor Ifeanyi Ofienbor, and Pastor Excel Momoh, joined the team and have since emerged as key figures within the ministry. As the ministry grew, Omega Fire Ministries Lagos expanded beyond Ogba, establishing branches in Surulere, Alaba, and eventually Olowu, Ikeja, where the State Headquarters was moved in December 2011. Despite initial challenges in planting churches in locations such as Ikorodu, Agbara, and Epe, these branches were later successfully established.

The church continued to experience numerical growth at its Olowu location, but space constraints became a significant issue. To accommodate the growing congregation, the ministry secured additional space in Magodo. Although services in Magodo faced obstacles, including government restrictions and environmental complaints, the church persevered, eventually relocating to The Wealthy Place in Oregun, Ikeja, which became the new headquarters.
Today, Omega Fire Ministries Lagos continues its journey of faith, with land acquisitions in Ajao Estate and Badagry, as well as a major project underway at Addo Road, Ajah, to build an edifice for God. The ministry celebrates over 13 years of challenges met with grace and looks forward to even greater glory in the future
