The Sanctuary Keepers Department is an essential arm of Omega Fire Ministries, Lagos, dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and sanctity of the church environment. As part of our service to God, the Sanctuary Keepers ensure that every area of the church is well-prepared and welcoming for worshipers and visitors alike. This department embraces a spirit of diligence, humility, and reverence, understanding that a clean and well-organized sanctuary reflects our commitment to honoring God’s presence in His house.
Vision
To create and sustain an atmosphere of purity and order in God’s house, where worshipers can encounter God without distractions, and to uphold a standard of excellence in maintaining the church’s environment as a reflection of reverence to God.
Mission:
● To provide a welcoming, neat, and orderly atmosphere in all areas of the church through committed, regular cleaning and organization.
● To foster deep-seated love and a spirit of devotion among members by serving selflessly to enhance the worship experience.
● To support other church departments by keeping the sanctuary and its surroundings well-prepared for every service, event, and gathering
● To nurture a deep sense of stewardship and honor toward the church as the house of God.
Expectations:
● Commitment and Punctuality: Members are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to the vision by being punctual, reliable, and consistent in attending assigned cleaning schedules and meetings.
● Excellence in Service: All tasks are to be done with diligence and thoroughness, ensuring every area of the church is spotless and orderly, aligning with the motto “CLEAN THE HOUSE!”
● Teamwork and Unity: Members should work collaboratively, fostering a spirit of unity and mutual support as they serve God together.
● Attention to Detail: Members are encouraged to approach each cleaning session with care, attending to every detail, from the sanctuary to surrounding areas, to create a welcoming and spiritually conducive environment.
● Respect and Humility: Serving in humility, members are expected to take pride in their work without seeking recognition, understanding that each task contributes to the ministry’s overall mission.
The Sanctuary Keepers Department takes pride in serving the
